While at Fuel Industries, I worked on an important project to promote McDonald's Happy Meal Toys.

Fairies and Dragons: As a developer on this project, we built McDonald's very first digital toy for their happy meals across Europe in 2008. As children begin flooding to McDonald's restaurants, they will reach into their Happy Meal box and find a plastic clamshell case containing a CD-ROM with one fairy or dragon. When they return home and place the disk in their drive, the character will spring to life on their desktop and begin interacting, playing and asking to be fed.

In thirty six languages across forty one European McDonald's markets children made Fairies & Dragons a success and lead to several more Happy Meal websites including promotions for Shrek, Megamind, and Endangered Animals. Games included side-scrolling, path finding systems, and click-management algorithms.
